Rishikesh
 is a city, municipal council and a tehsil in Dehradun district of the Indian state, Uttarakhand. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the ‘Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas and ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. It is approximately 25 km north of the city Haridwar and 43 km southeast of the state capital Dehradun.

Petals Neer Ganga Camps & Resort is 10 Independently designed cottages resorts which offers a comfortable and convenient stay to Leisure as well as Business travelers. The Hotel is easily reachable to Neer Gattu Water Fall (01.8 KM), Triveni Ghat – Aarti Point (9 KM’s), Laxman Jhula (7 KM’s), Kunja Puri Temple (18 KM’s) and various other tourist points which house a multi-cuisine restaurant and Yoga/ Meditation Room (Coming Soon).

These Ten beautiful cottages resort is spread in an acre of garden on three different levels. All cottages are having a modern amenity, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and a veranda to seat out and enjoy the nature around. All the rooms/cottages feature an attached bathroom having all the bath amenities with hot and cold running water, it extends 8AM to 10 PM room service to its guests.

Our cottages/rooms are designed for uninterrupted relaxation with all the conveniences of home. The cottages are replica of each other and has beautiful view of green hills or nature around;

Neer Gaddu Water Fall / Trek – 4 Minutes’ Drive (1.8 KM’s) Neer Gaddu Waterfall is a famous waterfall for small trek. The water flowing from natural rocky cliffs tempts the holidaymakers to take a cool dip in the narrow stream. The trekking to the waterfall is an adventurous activity as it involves walking through the jungle on narrow trails.
This is a two-tier waterfall with two bathing pools. There is very small waterfall after 200 m trek from the road where visitors can also take bath in a small pool. Further 1.2 km trek will take you to the bigger and main waterfall which has a large pool. There are two bridges on the waterfall and few resting stops. Butterflies of different species are seen fluttering around the wild flowers, adding beauty to this wonderful spot. Water, soft drinks, noodles and tea are available here in small shops.


Laxman Jhula
15 Minutes’ Drive, (approx. 07 KM’s)
Just walk able; the Laxman Jhula is a popular hanging bridge situated 70 feet above the River Ganga and 450 feet long. The bridge connects two villages, Tapovan and Jonk, crossing the river from west to east. Laxman Jhula acts as an adjoining bridge across River Ganga, along the old route to the sacred shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath. The construction of various grand temples around the Jhula has made it one of the most visited places in Rishikesh.

 

Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti – 30 Minutes’ Drive (approx. 9 KM’s)
The Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, also called as the Maha Aarti, is an evening prayer performed on the banks of the River Ganga. It is a major highlight of the ghat, which attracts a large number of devotees and visitors. The aarti is accompanied with chanting of bhajans, beating drums and bells. The illuminated lamps in the evening provide a beautiful view from where we are just walk able.

 

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple – 45 Minutes’ drive (approx. 22 KM’s)
Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is among the most revered shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva that is located around 32 km away from Rishikesh. Positioned on a hill above Swarg Ashram, this ancient temple lies at the confluence of the Pankaja and Madhumati rivers, amid three valleys – Brahmakoot, Vishnukoot and Manikoot.

 

White Water Rafting- 15 Minutes’ Drive (4 KM’s – Pick Up Point)
If you have a knack for adventure, Rishikesh is the place to be. Apart from the religious humdrum, this getaway is always buzzing with ample opportunities to pump up your adrenaline in a raft while tearing through the white waters of River Ganga. Bungee Jumping – 20 Minutes’ drive (approx. 17 KM’s)
Bungee Jumping is an activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord. The tall structure is usually a fixed object, such as a building, bridge or crane; but it is also possible to jump from a movable object, such as a hot-air-balloon or helicopter, that has the ability to hover above the ground. The thrill comes from the free-falling and the rebound. When the person jumps, the cord stretches and the jumper flies upwards again as the cord recoils, and continues to oscillate up and down until all the energy is dissipated. Kunjapuri Trek/ Temple– 45 Minutes’ drive (approx. 18 KM’s)
Kunjapuri Temple is situated at a height of 1645 meters and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks to the North and Rishikesh, Haridwar and the Doon valley to the South. Starting around 5 am from the hotel to the Kunjapuri Temple by car. The trip takes about an hour. Once you reach the temple you will climb 250 steps to the temple. Wait here for sunrise, which lights up the Himalayas in a beautiful glow, eventually shining on the town of Rishikesh and the Ganga River. On the five-mile trek down, pass through local villages and farms, as well as the Neer Gaddu waterfall.
